Cecilia finally requested she get to ski. I have avoided it and she has had no interest so it never came to be until Sunday. It went well and pretty much the same as the others. Madeleine first went at Kicking horse in Golden and maybe put in ten minutes, all fun and good. Will first went at Olympic Park in Calgary with much the same but he had a lot more to watch with all the action of a big city ski hill, and a four year old sister to watch. CeeCee did really well and kept asking to go again until her fifth time down. She actually went a bit more than the others but had the benefit of a more experienced parent and some siblings to watch.

Here is a picture of MadB on the hill. Will is trying out the new tube park at the base of the hill. Finally, a shot from the top of the Stoke Chair facing south. Why wouldn't people love snow it is both pretty and fun. Plus you can look cool doing cool things in it. Good times and I hope we get some more.

Here is some video of Madeleine skiing the Last Spike. It is a 15km ski out of which she did about 10km. She went from the top of the Revelation Gondola. Check it out on the RMR map if so inclined. She is progressing nicely, her bravery is surprising to even me as she has charged some steep pitches between the track to move beyond cruising. Will is doing well, also finishing a few runs on the bottom section of the Last Spike on his own. CeeCee still has not gone out but probably will try at some point this season. Josie and I fine.

Another moon rise and all the kids.

A nice sunny day for a fresh perspective here in Revelstoke. It took a gondola ride for the past long while to get a good dose of sun. Will and CeeCee with the hill in the back. It is 5620 vertical feet, the longest in North America. We also had a great moon rise.

We built a snow fort over the weekend. It kept everyone very busy.
