This was Madeleine's first time skiing from the Ripper chair. She skied the trees a lot that day. Here is the hockey showdown between MadB and Will at his end of season party. Our friend Jessica from NZ had a cookie making party before going home.

Hockey has ended and it is now spring break. Madeleine is busy with swimming still and CC is happy just to putter about. We have had some nice spring days and have been biking a bit. Skiing is coming to a close but should get a few good days in this week.

Things here are just fine here although it was a week of high drama. Our beloved Kiwi neighbours moved on, it was my Bday, Will had a hockey tournament, and Everyone got a cold/flu except me. We planned the Ontario trip so mark it down on your calendars May 14-17 in Ottawa, 17-21 GTA, 22-June 3 Pt.Stanley. We have reinvented our hometown. See you there. We will throw a wild and raging kegger for Josie and MaryEllen's 43rd birthday one day in that general time slot so feel free to help plan or bring booze.

This is skiing in the thermal inversion. My camera decided to work today We have been stuck under these clouds for a few days now so it is quite inspiring to get up there.

No luck with ski pictures the other day. Madeleine had gone up to the top of the mountain for the first time and there was a thermal inversion. Great photo chances but the camera did not work. I did get some video though, i will work on getting that on.
